Bangladesh has made significant progress in medical education quality improvement in 2023 by enacting the 'Bangladesh Medical Education Accreditation Act, 2023'. The council's leadership is being provided by Professor Md. Sohrab Ali and Professor Dr. Khan Abul Kalam Azad has been appointed as registrar. They are aligning the country's medical education with international standards.
This initiative will not only contribute to the quality enhancement of medical education, but will also increase the opportunity for Bangladeshi students to participate in global competitiveness.
