Water Terminals and Maritime Transportation

Bangladesh currently has 54 water terminals, which play an important role in the country's internal maritime transportation. A new inland port has been added as the country's 52nd facility, which maintains significant contribution in commercial activities, passenger transport, and cargo transport.

Many of the notable locations are at the top, which play key roles in shipping activities. These help increase the country's trade facilitation and logistics efficiency.

Proper management and development of this infrastructure helps in the country's economic growth. It facilitates connectivity through waterways and reduces transportation costs. The addition of new terminals will result in network expansion and accelerate local trade activities.
