While plastic is an indispensable part of our daily lives, it continues to have adverse effects on the environment. A volunteer organization called BD Clean has taken commendable initiatives to raise awareness about the harmful effects of plastic.
On the occasion of the great Victory Day, this organization created creative exhibits using plastic bottles and bottle caps, including maps of Bangladesh, portraits of Bangabandhu, and the National Memorial. The primary objective of the exhibition was to encourage everyone to recycle plastic to maintain environmental balance.
Although the use of one-time plastic items like cups, plates, and straws has become convenient in our lives, they have health hazards and long-term effects on the environment. Due to the durability and convenience of plastic, its use is increasing day by day, which is a threat to environmental sustainability.
