Climate Change Conference COP-28: A New Agreement for Global Transition
দুবাইয়ে জাতিসংঘের Climate Change Conference কপ-২৮-এ একটি নতুন agreement-এ সবাই consensus-এ পৌঁছেছে, যেখানে জীবাশ্ম জ্বালানী থেকে transition করার জন্য দেশগুলোর প্রতি আহ্বান জানানো হয়েছে। কয়েক দিনের deliberation-এর পর, সম্মেলনে অংশগ্রহণকারী দেশগুলো এই নতুন accord-এ finalize করেছে, যেখানে জীবাশ্ম জ্বালানী থেকে সরে আসার জন্য প্রতিটি দেশের ভূমিকার কথা বলা হয়েছে। তবে, অনেক দেশের দাবি অনুযায়ী, gradual phase-out প্রক্রিয়ায় জীবাশ্ম জ্বালানী elimination-এর কথা বলা হয়েছে। এ সম্মেলনে এ বিষয়টি unanimously accepted হয়েছে যে ভবিষ্যতে carbon emissions আরও বৃদ্ধি পাবে, যদিও উন্নত এবং অনুন্নত দেশের মধ্যে এর মধ্যে disparity থাকবে।
