Anti-discrimination Student Movement
Anti-discrimination Student Movement was an organization formed by general students of Bangladesh in 2024. It was created with the aim of establishing equality and protecting students' rights. Officially inaugurated on July 1, the organization announced a 65-member committee on July 8. This movement provided leadership to the Quota Reform Movement and later the Non-cooperation Movement. Students conducted programs such as protests, human chains, and road blockades. The 'Bangla Blockade' program launched in Dhaka revealed the core ideology of the movement. The culmination of this movement was the Non-cooperation Movement, which resulted in Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's resignation and the formation of an interim government. Students from various institutions across the country, including Dhaka University and Chittagong University, actively participated. The Anti-discrimination Student Movement is a milestone in establishing equality in Bangladesh's education system and ensuring students' rights.
